This show was *much* shorter than usual due to fuses blowing in the transmitter.  All total, I think we were on for two of our usual four hours.  Amazingly enough, when we came back on for good at 11:30 p.m., we had folks start calling immediately.  (I don't think I would have sat through two hours of static!)  We managed to give away CDs by the Backsliders and tickets to see the Lash (June 26 at the Small Planet in East Lansing), the Gourds (June 27 at Mac's in Lansing), Whiskeytown and the Volebeats (June 28 at Mac's in Lansing) and Riverfest (June 29 in Pontiac).  As if that weren't enough, we're helping Elektra put on an Old 97s CD release/listening party at Mac's on June 25.  Five days of Twang heaven -- and four of 'em are in our own town.  Who could ask for anything more?
