The Pantones came into the studio tonight to play selections from their new CD “Sleepless Nights, Silent Mornings”, and to promote their CD release party at Mac’s Bar on Dec. 10. We also focused on the “Something Fresh” CD compilation, which features a whole bunch of T&T staples (Seth Bernard, Drew Howard, Daisy May, Steppin’ In It and Honest D & the Steel Reserve). The CD is a project to raise awareness about community supported agriculture (CSAs), farmers markets, soil microbiology, small-scale independent businesses, adding value to local commodities, eating with the seasons, and our favorite musician friends. Plus each song on the disc has a companion recipe! There is a CD release party and potluck at Magdalena’s Tea House on Dec. 8. Finally we promoted the Del McCoury Band show at the Ark on Dec.9 and the Rev. Horton Heat/Supersuckers/Split Lip Rayfield show at the Temple Club on Dec. 9!
