Since Jamie left to become a Jersey Girl and I returned from Paris, the most frequently asked question has been who would take over as co-pilot of the mighty T&T freightliner. When I was in Paris I had heard a rumor that Kevin Harding (kev.com) had grown weary of the working world and would be returning to MSU for graduate school. Kevin had previously spent 5 years at WDBM, several of which were spent doing the Impact Underground shift directly following T&T (folks may remember him as the DJ who faithfully started each show with the MC5's "Kick Out The Jams"). So Jamie and I both knew Kevin to be a man of both wealth and taste. Tonight Kevin debuted as the new co-host of Progressive Torch and Twang. The show went well, Kevin wasn't too rusty from his time away from radio and he knows his alphabet exceptionally well, which will come in handy when we file all the CDs back into the library at the end of the night. Plus the callers liked it since we could finally answer the phone regularly, something that is difficult given the high volume of calls each week. So call up and say hello to Kevin and don't forget to fire Jamie an e-mail occasionally, since she is still the active web mistress for the T&T website.
