Though Darren McCarty and Claude Lemieux were punching the stuffing out of each other (the Wings ended up losing to the evil Avs), we managed to carry on and have a fun show.  The Goldenrods, an East Lansing trio on a new compilation CD stopped by and played a few songs, and the folks behind the label that put out the compilation came in and talked about the CD release party this Friday.  We also found time to give out two copies of the comp, Lucky 7 from Yikes! Records, as well as two copies of the new Ray Wylie Hubbard CD and tickets to Sam Pacetti play this Friday night at the Ten Pound Fiddle.
