Playlist for November 7, 2000

After the huge success of the Halloween show (with 4 solid hours of Halloween-themed T&T music), I toyed with the idea of doing an all election/political show. I finally rejected the idea because Michigan (being a swing state) has been completely inundated with political advertising and campaigning. So I started the show with a few relevant songs and then went on to other stuff. The requests and phone calls were far lower than usual, most likely since folks were glued to the set to see who would win. Little did we all know that we still have no idea as I write this, several days after the night. I could still run my election show next Tuesday! Finally, we gave out tickets to the Vance Gilbert show at the Ten Pound Fiddle and the Southern Culture on the Skids show at the Intersection.
