We had so many things to give away tonight that we were answering phones 'til 11:55 p.m., which is OK by us.  Swag items included tickets to see The Gourds at Mac's on Oct. 8, Seconds Flat and Gladys at Mac's on Oct. 11, The Old 97s and the Volebeats at the Blind Pig on Oct. 11, the Laketown Buskers on Oct. 10, Steve Owen and the Ex-Husbands and the Meat Purveyers at Mac's on Oct. 16 and Blue Mountain and Robbie Fulks at the Blind Pig on Oct. 14.  Oh, and we also gave out the new Belmont Playboys CD.  Plus, Steve Owen, who will be playing in Lansing at Mac's next Thursday, Oct. 16, stopped in to play a few songs and chat for a while.  It's all good for what ails you!
