Two new albums were featured tonight - Gillian Welch's “Time(The Revelator)” on Acony Records and the “Down From the Mountain” concert CD on Lost Highway. The Down From the Mountain concert was recorded at the Ryman back in April 2000 and features most of the people on the extremely successful “O’Brother, Where Art Thou?” soundtrack. Coincidently, one of the cuts on Gillian’s new album is the exact same version of a song she recorded for the Down from the Mountain CD. Both are outstanding and generated numerous inquiries.  We also began our hype for the 63rd Annual National Folk Fest in East Lansing, which this year features Doc Watson, Geno Delafose, Johnny Gimble with the Hot Club of Cowtown, Dale Watson, David Doucet, Dudley Connell and Don Rigsby and many others.
