Playlist
for February 10, 2004
Tonight
we focused on the first studio recording from Honest D. Smith and the
Steel
Reserve. The CD, which
should be
released by early March, is entitled “Horseradish Rag and Other
Songs of Music”. The entire band came
down (dressed appropriately for a gig it should be noted!) and
discussed the
making of the album. Some folks may
recall that they had come into the studio to play live back in October,
at which
point they announced they would have
an album by February. Knowing full well how
these things go, we were a
*tad* bit skeptical, but they delivered.
Catch their live show when you can – it is
truly a rollicking good time.
