Membership
Meeting
Because we did not have a
quorum at the April 28 Membership Meeting, the CTU Executive Board
will need to schedule a special meeting so that we can make the
decisions necessary to moving the union forward. Watch for the May
CT News for more information.

As
a result of keeping increases in health care costs down in 2006,
raises for the nine bargaining units covered by the Health Care
Agreement with the University will be 2.75%!
CTs will receive the increase
as their general pay raise in April 2008.
This is definitely good news
given the problems with the MSU budget and the State of Michigan’s
economic woes. And we still have high quality health care
with a premium-free choice.
