Welcome to the Academic Competition Club (ACC) at Michigan State University. The ACC is a student-run organization, open to all Michigan State University students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Meetings are held weekly in the fall and spring semesters.
If you think that "Academic Competition Club" sounds like an odd name for a group, call us the Quiz Bowl team. Or College Bowl. We're sort of like Jeopardy, only it's a team thing. We use buzzers to answer questions about a variety of subjects. That's all.

Breaking News!!
This website is being updated again!!! I
have recently learned that this year’s elected Webmaster has not done any
updating, so I have reinstated myself as Webmaster. Be prepared for a hostile
takeover.
So, this past weekend (October 28-30) seven of us went to This Tournament Goes to Eleven VII at Iowa State University in Iowa City, Iowa. The team consisted of Tara Franey, Maggie Harris, Aren Hellum, Brenton Montie, Katie Rabidoux, Paul Stoetzer, and Elizabeth Stroik. Any of you can feel free to correct me if I’m wrong (if anyone even actually reads this), but I believe we came in dead last. However, that is entirely beside the point. The point is that we had a blast. If you’ve never been on a Quiz Bowl road trip, you need to sign up for the next one. It will be one of the best times of your life. For a glimpse of our insanity, check out the quotes page (linked below).
