My combined research, outreach/service and teaching program is aimed at developing better understanding of fish community and population dynamics and improving methods for assessing fish stocks through quantitative analyses and modeling. My program emphasizes fisheries of the Great Lakes. My position is part of the Partnership for Ecosystem Research and Management (PERM).
