AlBadayea
A distinguished past and shining future
With a population of more than forty thousands, Albadayea
city is located in the center of AlQaseem area (part of Najd province,
Saudi Arabia). It's considered the most important agricultural city in
the area. Albadayea city consists of six small towns (Alshabeebiah, Umtala'h-my
home town-, Alobailh, Almanzelah, Alulowat and Alhajnawee) extended along
the banks of Wadi Alrumah ( the Rumah vally). Wadi Alrumah is the longest
vally in the Arabian Peninsusla starting from Madena (the Prohet Mohammed's
-peace be upon him- city) and ending at Shat Alarab in Iraq. This vally
and Alnesa vally- which runs from south to the north- determinded
the selection of Albadayea's location by its former inhibtants who depended
largly on the water supply provided by these two vallies.
Albadyayea is well-known by its huge supply of ground
water, its rich soil and its agricultural projects.
