The Undergraduate University Division is solely responsible for administrative procedures and academic monitoring of all undergraduate students admitted to Michigan State University with fewer than 56 credits (except James Madison College and Lyman Briggs School). UUD makes decisions concerning retention and recess or dismissal. Advisers assist students to understand the application of University administrative policies and procedures to their academic careers.
