Colloquia, Public Lectures, and Faculty Works in Progress Seminar Series

The Department sponsors colloquia given by visitors as well as local faculty and graduate students. In recent years speakers have included David Crocker, Cora Diamond, Hans Joas, John McDowell, Jon McGinnis, Holmes Rolston, Mark Sagoff, Peter Sandoe, Kristin Shrader-Frechette, Tamara Sonn.

In addition, there are weekly discussion groups on specific topical concerns and contemporary debates.
