Interests:	Professor Asquith is interested in the relationships among history, philosophy, and sociology of science; served as Executive Secretary of the Philosophy of Science Association from 1970 to June of 1996; has edited Current Research in Philosophy of Science and several volumes of The Proceedings of the Biennial Meeting of the Philosophy of Science Association; has also made presentations and published in the area of informal logic.
