East Lansing Centennial

Chase Newman was a member of East Lansing's first city council. He was an Assistant Professor of Drawing and Design in Mechanical Engineering at MAC from 1897 - 1939. He was an active promoter for the creation of the City of East Lansing and also a founder and charter member of the People's Church.
