Declaring a Major

Students with fewer than 56 credits who have been admitted to the University are enrolled in the Undergraduate University Division (UUD).  Students enrolled in UUD may declare a major preference or, if undecided, students select the No-Preference option.

In order for No-Preference students to declare Nutritional Sciences as a major, or for UUD students to change their major to Nutritional Sciences, they must go to their UUD Adviser Office (170 Bessey Hall, 229 East Akers, 109 Brody, or S-33 Wonders depending on where the student lives) to complete the "Change of Major Form".

JUNIORS (56 to 87 credits) and Seniors (88 and above credits):

Undergraduate students admitted to the University who have 56 credits or more must have a declared major.  To change to a Nutritional Sciences major, students must go to the Office of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs of the College of the current major to complete the" Change of Major Form". Students in the College of Natural Science go to 103 Natural Science Building to initiate the process.
