Course Description
HNF 379 Basic Nutritional Counseling
Spring. Credits: 3 (Lecture: 2, Lab: 3)
Prerequisite (s): HNF 150, HNF 320.
Restrictions: Open only to juniors or seniors in the Dietetics major or to graduate students in the Human Nutrition majors.
Interviewing. Medical records and dietary history. Assessment of nutritional status. Planning, implementing, and evaluating nutritional programs. Quality assurance. Professional ethics.
