Name: Accommodating Technology Committee
Membership:
- eight members, appointed by the Communications and Computer
Systems Advisory Committee (CCSAC) from the extended university
community.
- ex officio, Director of Resource Center for Persons with
Disabilities or designee.
- ex officio, Coordinator for Employees with Disabilities,
Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities or designee.
- ex officio, Chairperson of the Instructional Computing and
Technology Committee or designee.
- ex officio, Chairperson of the Research Computing Committee or
designee.
- ex officio, Director of Libraries or designee.
- ex officio, ex officio, Director of Client Advocacy Office or
designee.
- ex officio, Director of the Computer Laboratory or
designee.
- ex officio, Director of the Instructional Media Center or
designee.
- ex officio, Director of Broadcasting Services or designee.
- Student member selected by ASMSU.
- Student member selected by COGS.
Terms of Membership:
Two years, except for ex officio members. One-half of the
appointed members to be named each year. No restriction on
reappointment.
Officers:
Chairperson and Secretary elected from membership during Spring
semester to take office for one year, effective following August
1. Officers are eligible for reelection.
Meetings:
As determined by members.
Minutes:
Provided to own members and to members of the Communications and
Computer Systems Advisory Committee.
Responsibility:
Forwards to CCSAC advice on all matters related to the technology
and software used to provide handicapper accommodation for
university teaching and computing facilities, including:
- Public micro laboratories
- ITV instructional programs
- Instructional support services
- Computer mediated information services
