As the nation‘s pioneer land-grant university and a treasured asset of the state of Michigan, MSU has been serving the people of Michigan for more than 150 years. As part of that service and its public commitment, MSU values transparent and consistently available information about the university and its operation for its stakeholders. Consistent with MSU’s commitment to transparency and in response to the reporting requirements in Section 245 of Public Act 201 of 2012, the links below provide access to comprehensive institutional information across a broad array of operational areas.
Financial and Operational Indicators: annual operating budgets, current fund personnel expenditures, current fund expenditures, collective bargaining agreements, health care benefit plans, financial reports, campus security and safety, and all funded university positions
Student and Academic Outcomes: enrollment, student retention, graduation rate, Pell Grant recipients, geographic origination, student to faculty ratios, student to university employee ratios, faculty teaching load, and graduation outcomes
