Go Green. Go White. Go Abroad!
MSU is the top public university in the United States for study abroad.
Last year more than 2,700 students took advantage of more than 220 programs in 65 countries on all seven continents.
Through MSU’s study abroad programs students have the chance to sail on an expedition-style ship to the Antarctic Peninsula to study climatology, oceanography and ecology while watching whales, seals and penguins. Some students study business practices in Thailand, China, or Japan at world-renowned institutions. Others set off to Africa to learn about the traditions, natural resources and politics of developing countries while experiencing diverse cultures and ecosystems.
Participants may spend a few weeks, a semester or an academic year studying abroad. Programs are offered during each session, including winter and spring breaks, and are available to all majors.
Costs for study abroad programs vary and are often offset by financial aid and scholarships.
