Hart-Davidson teaches in the Rhetoric and Writing and Professional Writing programs at Michigan State University. He is also co-director of the Writing in Digital Environments research center. His research explores the influences of technology on literate activity, with a special focus on the development of new technologies for understanding and enacting writing practices.
