Hadley has published several articles about women authors, including a book about narrative strategies in Edith Wharton’s fiction. Recently, she presented a paper about teaching Hurston’s Their Eyes Were Watching God at the College English Association conference in Memphis.
Hadley’s teaching experience includes writing at all levels; American and British literature; women’s literature; popular culture, focusing on mysteries; introduction to film; and the full range of introductory literature courses, including drama, fiction, and poetry. Hadley has also served as Director of the writing center for Albion College and has served on women’s studies committees at Michigan State.
