are invited to celebrate with UUD staff, faculty, and University administrators.
"PRO 101"
Pre-Major Exploratory Seminar: Connecting Academics, Majors,
And Careers
Taught every fall, this seminar is designed to
assist you in the process of making some discoveries about yourself, majors,
and careers. You will be introduced to basic theories, tools, and strategies
for making effective academic decisions. Additionally you will be given
various inventories to help you in your process of exploring your academic,
career, and personal interests. A primary emphasis of the course will be
to assist you in identifying the strengths, values, and skills that are
the foundation of any decisions you will make about potential majors or
careers. Another emphasis of the course will be to help you make the critical
transition between high school and college and introduce you to the strategies
and habits of becoming a successful student.
