The Popular Culture Association (PCA) was founded in the late 1960s with the mission of rekindling a holistic approach to cultural studies. In addition to the classic American studies, the PCA explores material culture, popular music, movies, architecture, comics and all other forms of popular art and culture through its journal and other activities. PCA members receive a full subscription to The Journal of Popular Culture as a benefit of membership.
