Course Description

This course will focus on the mind-body problem. We will be especially interested in the relationship between minds and the physical world. We will also explore questions such as: How do we know that other people have minds? What are the conditions for continuity of self? And, what is the nature and function of consciousness? Previous philosophical experience is essential for this course.
