  Modeling the U.S. Population Growth, MTH 843, Survey of Industrial Mathematics, Fall 2002  
 

This focuses on modeling the growth of U.S. population from 1790 to 2000, using data from the U.S. Census Bureau. The Best-fitting polynomial, the Exponential function and the Logistics Equation models were developed using MATLAB to determine the most accurate fit for the data.

 
  Currency Crisis-The Asian Saga, EC 841, International Finance, Fall 2000.  
 

This focuses on the currency crisis that hit East Asia in 1997. It describes the causes that led to the crisis, the remedial measures and the role of the IMF in the reform strategies as well as lessons that can be learnt in order to avoid the future breakout of such a crisis.

 
  CEO Compensation, EC 823, Applied Econometrics, Fall 2000.  
 

This focuses on the determination of CEO compensation for a sample of 48 US companies ranked in accordance of Sales for the years 1997 and 1999. The control variables include percentage of stock owned by the CEO, profits of the company, sales etc. The results were obtained using the regression software, STATA, Version 6.

 
  Company Analysis-The Kellogg Corporation, FI 862, Advanced Managerial Finance, Fall 2000.  
 

This is a valuation of the Kellogg Corporation by developing a detailed forecast period and a continuing value period using balance sheet and income statement items. It further estimates value drivers, revenue growth and ROIC, using Excel spreadsheets.
