Christopher L. Oberg

Degree: BFA in 1976, Advertising Design from The Center for Creative Studies, Detroit, MI.

Employment: 25 years as supervisor of the Dietetic Instructional Resource Center and the Graphic Arts Lab for the MSU College of Human Ecology from 1978 to 2003. Retired in 2003 when they gave me a cool watch.

Personal: Married to my high school sweetheart, Carol.

I have 2 grown sons, Zack and Ian and an adopted daughter-princess, Samantha, age 15.

In retirement: Continuing the tradition of Maestro Charles Schmitter, I actively support the MSU FENCING CLUB as Head Coach and Club Advisor.

I am also indebted to Coach Freiheit who offers support and encouragement as my mentor and advisor.  

Right now: I am living my dream, fencing with dedicated Spartan fencers down in gym 1, IM West. from 8-10:30pm Monday through Thursday.
