NAM By-Laws Article III: Membership

       Section 1. Full membership is open to any neighborhood association that meets the following criteria:

  • Has a democratically elected and functioning Board of Directors or Trustees, or a comparable body.
  • Has geographically defined boundaries in which anyone who is a resident is eligible for membership.
  • Is established for the primary purpose of neighborhood betterment.
    • Membership in NAM has the following benefits:
      • NAM’s quarterly newsletter-The Neighborhood Newslink
      • NAM Newsflash
      • NAM’s annual conference
      • Leadership training and development
      • Networking with neighborhood associations from across Michigan
      • Membership in the Michigan Non-Profit Association
