Award Nominations Sought

Nominations for both the Neighborhood Associations of Michigan 2004 Community Oriented Policing Awards and the Community Builder Awards are being sought.

Awards will be presented at the Annual NAM conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan, September 17-18, 2004.

• The Community Oriented Policing Award will be presented to a local law enforcement agency (LLEA) that has effectively implemented community policing in the LLEA's service area.  A specific community policing officer (CPO) may also be nominated under this award.
