Women's Council puts out an alternative magazine with a feminist edge entitled FEM. 

We just came out with our Fall 2007 issue, our second installment.  If you haven't had the chance to read this issue please e-mail us (see the contact page for details) and we can hook you up with a copy of the current issue and/or the Fall 2006 issue.

We're hoping to come out with at Spring 2008 issue by April 8th, the date of Take Back the Night (10am-10pm on Beaumont Field). Check back for details, or email us.

If you are interested in writing, have ideas for articles, are a photographer, would be interested in soliciting for ads from businesses, know of media artists for cover art, can do layout, or just want to help out in general please let us know!

FEM Magazine Mission Statement

Our goal is to provide an alternative to the mass media's patriarchal slant on how women should live their lives.  This is a magazine for anyone who identifies as a women - a magazine that celebrates us as we are.  We are passionate, strong, loving, angry, beautiful, independent, sexy, intelligent, but most importantly, we're real.
