- Pickup/Temporary Accomodation
- Students who want us to pick them from Lansing airport should fill in the details in the attached spreadsheet. We will get back to you two weeks before your arrival. If you don't hear from us a week before your arrival then send a mail to msuic (at) msu.edu or may contact us personally.
- Useful website to buy used stuff from students
- Credit cards: you will get a debit card once you open an account with some bank and it will serve your purpose for buying stuff online. After 4-5 months (maybe sooner) of your stay here you will be able to get a reasonable credit card.
- Commuting on campus
- Bikes
- Bus :(It is advisable to buy a semester bus pass)
- Immunization information (you might need to check with US immigration for their requirements on immunization, nevertheless you will be tested for TB once you arrive here)
- University Housing
- Cherry Lane: Near to some university buildings (esp. Engg. Bldg.)
- Spartan Village: community center is near
- Owen Hall: Could be expensive, no kitchen(plz verify.)
- Orientation (It is recommended that should arrive just before their first orientation starts, but do keep a day or two to relax after long trip)
