Also, There is an updater if you already have version 2.2 installed.
Everything is now Universal.

Below is a list of programs included with this download. I hope to add more programs over time, or at least links and menus. So if you compile a program to run under MacOS X let me know and I will add it in. Programs that take input from the command line or that will read instructions from a file are easily added to MacGDE. Programs that will only accept input from their own menu system can be added but the program will most likely be limited to launching and reading a sequence alignment file only.

Note1: Commercial programs like PAUP* can not be added for download but a link to the where a program can be found will be.

Note2: The PAUP* menus attempt to duplicate the menus of Classic PAUP* to make the Mac OSX command line PAUP* more user friendly.
However, if you are using PAUP* in Classic mode (OS9) then just use the menu Item "Make Classic PAUP* File" .
This will create a nexus file to execute in Classic PAUP* where you can use the PAUP* menus directly.
