Pacific Northwest science
studies scholars formed the Columbia History of Science Group (CHSG) in the
early 1980s to provide a regular meeting place. We have met continually
over the past two decades, all but the first meeting have been held at the
University of Washington's Marine Biological Laboratory at Friday Harbor in
the San Juan Islands. We meet once a year, generally the first or second
full weekend in March.
