Okemos Community Education Driver's
Education classes are open to any students in the Okemos school
district as well as students in other school districts.
Students must be at least 14 years, 8 months by the first day of
class.

Six full hours of driving with an
instructor and 24 hours of classroom instruction.
Segment I certificate must be held for 6 months and include 50 hours
of driving with a licensed adult who is at least 21 years old.
Cost includes driver education book.
Class size limited.
Students must be able to schedule 6 hours of driving time with their
driving instructor during each three-week session.
Cost for Okemos students is $249.
Students outside the Okemos School District may take the class - the
fee is $284.
