I AM Mission Congregation

Journey House is more than just a great place to live and hang out. It’s an opportunity for spiritual growth!

Worship services are held in the living room of the Journey House Sunday evenings at 6:00pm with Free Dinner: 7:00pm

They are non-traditional and interactive celebrations. This congregation is a small group of about 30 who give ministry and support to young adults. We appreciate all types of music and spirituality and we encourage members to share, learn and lead in both as we worship.

Worships are prepared and weekly messages are presented by different persons each week. Several volunteer ordained ministers and student “ministers-in-training” do this and create a unique worship experience each week.

During MSU’s fall and spring semesters, varying members of the congregation prepare a FREE MEAL for everyone present at 7:00pm after the service . Anyone is welcome to join us, so come with an appetite!

I AM Mission is a congregation of Community of Christ. It is a part of the regional jurisdiction Southern Great Lakes International Mission which supports the Community of Christ congregations in southern Michigan.

In addition we are members of MSU’s Religious Advisors Association.

We strive to embrace everyone in Christ’s community with Joy, Hope, Love and Peace, embracing persons of any gender, age, sexual orientation, life experience, race, creed, or religious background.

Each person is a unique, gifted child of God and that uniqueness shows the loving, creative diversity of our Creator. We strive to welcome and support all who enter our doors. We await the opportunity to share our life journeys with you and to learn about yours.
