Our Missions

International Sponsored Students Organization was initiated by Undergraduate and Graduate level International Sponsored Students at Michigan State University.

Our Mission is: to bring together all international sponsored students, who share unique experiences and facilitate their interaction and provide support, along with promoting the spirit of sponsored student unity

So, what do we do?

  • Help international sponsored students in their initial adjustment and settlement to the US life style upon their arrival at MSU.
  • Providie coordinate cultural and international events to introduce peoples of the world, bringing students closer to each other so that a global culture of international students may develop at MSU.
  • Provide individual academic and linguistic support to international sponsored students in study related issues and issues related to scholarships.
  • Provide technical support program to get maximum benefit from the technological resources at MSU.
  • Developing relations with different student organizations and MSU offices to deal with the common problems faced by international students in general, and international sponsored students in particular. Also to develop relations with East Lansing community
  • Providing more interactions among international sponsored students
