Traditional behaviors and core moral value systems of the Nacerima tend to appear rather peculiar to us hollisticlly.  If societal behavior is truly a product of our environment and its interaction with the human race, then the Nacerima tribe must truly live in a strange world.  One of the most fantastic and unbelievable cultural inventions of the Nacerima society, is their absolute fascination with lip moisture consistency retention (LMRC), and the great feats that coincide with this practice.

Female Nacerima often participate in LMCR more often than males of the society, for it seems to prove helpful in attracting possible mating candidates.  Perhaps the importance of excessively wet lips is the result of a perversion of lip moisture as a symbol of health and physical wellness.  The Nacerima also believe that the moisture consistency enhances an aspect of there senses, similar to wet noses on dogs. 

 A special potion needs to be traded for in the market this potion is called a Kcitspach. The  Kcitspach, will magically heal the lips, correct mythical imperfections and some alchemists even suggest that it helps prevent moisture loss under the eyes. The gelatinous mixture consists apparently of a combination of ancient dead and rotten plans and animals, whose bodies now contain powers that help keep moist the lips of the Nacerima. Some Alchemist in Nacerima tribes create secret recipes of Kcitspach that have flavors of things in them, this helps the Kcitspach supplement nutritional needs in times of short crop yields. 

 Secluded, public, and social, in any occasion the Nacerima need no special occasion, or venue to maintain their lip moisture consistency.  The Nacerima will even interrupt other rituals and activities in order to maintain lip moisture.  To gauge consistence of moisture on the lips of the Nacerima they use a very simple test, simple, but with enough skill can prove to be fairly accurate: the Nacerima slowly lick their lips, and if the wetness of the Nacerima tongue sticks to the dryness of the lips, then the Secluded, public, and social, in any occasion the Nacerima need no special occasion, or venue to maintain their lip moisture consistency.  The Nacerima will even intterupt other rituals and activities in order to maintain lip moisture.  To gauge consistency of moisture on the lips of the Nacerima they use a very simple test, simple, but with enough skill can prove to be fairly accurate: the Nacerima slowly lick their lips, and if the wetness of the Nacerima tongue sticks to the dryness of the lips, then a special ritual needs to be performed.   

           
The ritual starts with the removal of the Kcitspach’s decorative shell casing.  Then a primitive srewing system ejects the gel from the bowels of its protective casing.  After the gelatin is expelled from its container, it is rubbed slowly over the lips of the Nacerima.  First carefully and slowly the bottom lip, and then on to in exactly the same fashions, carefully avoiding any waste of this precious and magical substance.  After a thin layer of substance is applied to both the lips, the Nacerima close them briskly onto each other, combining the magic from the top lip to the bottom.  It s not all too uncommon to witness Naceriama women make what would appear to be some kind of kissy face to preform this task, perhaps the females are expected to show gratitude for the magic by granting this manner of small sexual favor. 
 
 There are few things completely understood about the strange ways of the Nacerima.  Fortunately after much research on the societies LMCR ritual, Anthropologists can start to paint an accurate picture of the living Nacerima.
