• Prof. Giesy was appointed to the US-EPAs Executive Committee of the Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC) for a 2 year term commencing on May 1 2004.
• The committee provides advice to the EPA’s Office of Research and Development about it’s research program. Specifically the BOSC provides advice regarding science and engineering research programs, plans, laboratories and research management practices.
