Three most problematic sub-sections of
the Rubric:
- Conclusion--Often
times, I struggle with how to wrap up my essay without repeating
myself.
- Shifts in tense, mood,
and voice-- I tend to jump from present to past tense in
papers. This is something I continue to work on in my
writing.
- Strategy towards
audiences-- I have not written many papers that must be geared
to certain audiences.
Three least problematic
sub-sections of the Rubric:
- Transitions between
paragraphs-- I have good transitioning judgment and don't repeat
the same type of transitioning phrases in a single essay.
- Introduction-- I
am very creative when it comes to grabbing the reader's
attention. I often find quotes and other interesting facts
related to my topic to pull the reader in.
- Numbers-- I have
the understanding that when numbers zero to nine are written, they
should be spelled out and numbers ten or higher may be written in
numerical form.
