I encourage all my students to take a multiple intelligence self-assessment, in order to understand how you learn best.  This could help you develop strategies to improve your study habits. The Multiple Intelligences website has links to many self-assessments on the Internet.

Having trouble studying?  Success in college means hard work.  Dartmouth University’s Academic Skills Center has a great online resource page.  You can find other resources via MSU’s home page, by using the search term “study habits”.  Above all, remember you’re not alone--most college students struggle with their workload, and succeed.  Read this report on the experiences of MSU students to see how your peers share your experiences in school.

If you need special accommodation in any of my classes due to a learning disability, please let me know.  Please also visit MSU’s Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities for information and assistance.
