I used to call this my "Primitive Technology" web site, but the term "Primitive" suggests that these technologies were not advanced.

For as long as I can remember, I have been interested in Prehistoric Technology.  I guess my interest started in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.  My interests in spear throwers, flint knapping, drills and ground stone tools started when I took the Field Archeology class in 1983 at Northeast Louisiana University.  The Archeology Field class was held at Poverty Point State Commemorative Area.
