MARCH 2005:RESEARCH: Dr. Jim Pivarnik is beginning data collection on blood pressure, fitness, and physical activity of 5-6 year old offspring from the MAMA study

RESEARCH: Patti Bauer is collecting follow-up data on previous MAMA study subjects.
RESEARCH: Pilot data was collected on college students enrolled in a Healthy Lifestyles course (KIN 121). An internet survey was used to collect information on physical activity and other healthy behaviors.
FEBRUARY 2005MICHIGAN ACSM CONFERENCE: Jon Zubek (former MSU graduate student) of Ingham Regional Medical Center and Stephanie Getz were keynote speakers at this years conference. They presented the most recent data from the PATCH program.
