THE MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY EXPERIENCE

Recapture the Spirit of Your College Days!

The Michigan State University Experience is a special edition hardcover book written by MSU alumnus Robert Bao, editor of the MSU Alumni Magazine, with artwork by popular Michigan artists Carolyn Scott Risk.

This small-format, 80-page book takes you back to East Lansing to recall those unforgettable experiences of college days-Satuday afternoons at Spartan Stadium, a quiet walk along the Red Cedar River, serious studying in an alcove in the MSU Auditorium. Also included are recipes from favorite student hangouts. At the turn of each page, you will be reminded of your Michigan State University experience.

The book features:

More than a dozen full-color watercolor illustrations of familiar campus scenes, including Beaumont Tower, the Sparty statue, Linton Hall, the Alumni Memorial Chapel and The Rock.

Stories about the rich history and traditions of MSU, from the early days as an agricultural college to today's global research university; from a stroll through Beal Garden to exciting sports action at Jenison Fieldhouse; from study dates at the MSU Union to Les Mis at Wharton Center.

Recipes for longtime favorites such as "Sympathy for the Devil" Chili at Beggar's Banquet; Cinammon Rolls at Coral Gables; and everyone's favorite, Johnny Marzetti!

The Michigan State University Experience also includes a timeline of memorable happenings in MSU history, a listing of annual events at MSU and in East Lansing, plus the words to the Fight Song and the Alma Mater.
