1949 Western Electric 5302 Telephone

I have always liked this phone as it was a strange combination of parts and a hard set to find.  The 5302 looks much like an early 500 set with the metal fingerwheel and shape of the body, but it’s little more than a model 302 in disguise.  It uses the 5H dial, the F1 handset, and the base and internal components from a 302.  Click here to see it from the side.  It’s one of the easier ways to determine whether or not a phone is a 5302 or a 500 set.
