Smith Premier 2 Typewriter
I picked this machine up in Massachusetts in July of 2005. It was formerly part of the collections of the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. It’s an understrike machine, meaning the operator can’t see what he is typing unless the carriage is flipped up. Notice the two keyboards, one for upper case and one for lower case.
