1899 Remington
No. 6 Typewriter
This is a Remington 6 from around 1899. Next to it is its original tin lid. The machine is sitting on a typewriter stand made by the Ohio Steel Company. I have found few typewriter stands this old. The surface is oak and the legs are painted an olive drab green. The legs of the stand can be raised for stability and lowered to allow the stand to roll.
