1933 Western Electric 202

This is the typical phone of the art deco era, though it doesn't represent art deco style.  It was introduced in 1933 and continued production well into the 1950's with slight changes in color and an updated F1 receiver.  Shown on this model is the original E1 receiver with the popular "spit cup" on the receiver, which is made of bakelite.  I have a coil accessory on this phone, which coiled the cloth line cord so it didn't get tangled.  Click here to see the coil attachment and its original package.
