Congratulations to David Roth who shot a world-record tying 598 to lead the MSU Compound ArcheryTeam to its 3rd place team finish nationally in the 2007 NAA Indoor Championships. David's score breaks the existing US single round record in the College Division. The MSU team as a whole won its 12th straight overall indoor regional title for the 12 state North region.

MSU Trustees approve new Shooting Sports Center scheduled to open in 2008. The John and Marnie Demmer Shooting Sports, Education and Training Center will include indoor and outdoor archery ranges, classrooms and equipment storage rooms. The official ground-breaking ceremony took place Friday, July 18, 2008, and the Center is now under construction.

US Intercollegiate Archery Championship Results -- 2 new MSU All Americans!

The MSU Archery Team followed up its strong performance in the National Indoor Archery Championships (top 10 finishes for Chris Glass and David Roth) with an excellent performance at USIAC hosted by the World Shooting Sports Center in Sparta Illinois, May 17-20, 2007. Chris and David earned All American Status with top 10 finishes in the FITA round added to their top 10 indoor scores, and David took the Bronze medal in the individual match play tournament on Sunday.

Directions:

MSU Fall Classic: In 2008, the MSU Fall Classic Archery Tournament will be held at the Rugby fields on Service Road, just across the street from the MSU Clinical Center on the campus of Michigan State University, East Lansing MI. Take the Okemos Road Exit off of I-96 (just east of the intersection with US 127 ). Proceeed North to Mt. Hope Road, West on Mt. Hope to Hagadorn Rd., North on Hagadorn less than a mile, thenWest on Service Road (a Michigan Left after the intersection). The field will be about 1/2 mile on your right.

Indoor Nationals: Take US 127 to the Trowbridge Rd. Exit in East Lansing. Follow Trowbridge East through the Harrison Rd. traffic light and past the campus information booth. Turn left at Chestnut and proceed North across Shaw Lane. The IM West building will be on your right, across Chestnut from the Munn Hockey arena and just west of Spartan Football stadium. Use the Northeast parking area and entrance.
