TIME What time should students be at graduation?
Fall:
1 hour before ceremony starts.  
Spring: Graduating Seniors refer to Degree Candidates and Families - Graduating Seniors--note that information is being updated for Spring 2008 ceremonies, assembly times vary by college. Advanced Degree candidates: 1 hour before ceremony starts .

What time should family members be at graduation?
In considering traffic, parking and seating, we suggest at least 45-60 minutes before ceremony starts.
For your convenience, please be sure to check on the shuttle bus service for Friday and Saturday ceremonies at the Breslin Center and the MSU Auditorium.
Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
In considering meeting the needs of persons with special needs (disabilities), we suggest at least one hour before ceremony starts.

 

   
TICKETS How many family members are allowed to come to graduation?
No limit on number of guests. No tickets required. Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

GRADUATION
ROBE

Is it possible for me to rent a robe today? "It is graduation day."

You should purchase or reserve rented apparel early and as directed on the commencement website. See degree candidates information for graduating seniors or advanced degrees. Call Spartan Spirit Store @ 517-355-5116 with questions or visit the site for ordering academic apparel. There can be no guarantee, nor is it likely, that cap and gown would be available the day of the ceremony.

   
WEBCASTING

At least one week following the commencement ceremonies, the ceremonies will be available on the Web for viewing (at WMSU.org). The Undergraduate Convocation will be Webcast live (at WMSU.org).
